Biography

Martha Jane TRELOAR (later ADAMS) was born on 26 December 1861, in Kapunda, in the Colony of South Australia (SA), the daughter of William TRELOAR (1825-1891) and Elizabeth BLACKWELL (1837-1919).^[1]

Martha married Henry ADAMS on 13 February 1889 in Adelaide SA (at the residence of W Woodman).^[2][3] The couple had five children.

Martha passed away, aged 92 years, on 31 July 1954, at her residence at 6 Bolingbroke Grove, Toorak Gardens SA.^[4][5]

Her funeral was held, and she was interred (buried), in Mitcham General Cemetery, Mitcham SA.^[6][7]
