Yde Gorrits Trenk/Frenk/Trenk was born in 1831 in St. Jacobiparochie, Friesland, the Netherlands.[1]
He as the son of Gorrit Ydes Frenk and Dirkje Hendriks Koning.
His name is listed as "Yde Trenk" on his birth record; picture of his tombstone shows "Yde G Trenck"

At the age of 25 he married 20 year old Klaasje de Boer. They married on July 10, 1856 in Het Bildt, Friesland, the Netherlands. [2]
