Biography

Catherine was born in 1569. She was the daughter of Thomas Trentham and Jane Sneyde. Catherine, daughter of Thomas & Jane, was baptised on 16 August 1569 in Rocester, St Michael, Staffordshire, England.[1]

Catharine married John Stanhope on 18 January 1585 in Rocester, Staffordshire, England.[2]

In 1617 she was named in the will of her husband's aunt Lady Jane Berkeley.[3]

Catherine had her will drawn up on 7 Sep 1619, describing herself as being late the wife of Sir John Stanhope.[4] She made bequests to and mentioned:
