Biography of Elisabetta TRIPI BOVA of 1780

Elisabetta Tripi was born about 1780, the daughter of Ignazio Tripi and his wife Lucia Monteleone. She was likely named after Elisabetta Pisateri, her grandmother.

Elisabetta Tripi was one of several possible siblings:

1. Giovanni Tripi, born after 1801, who married Lucia Costantino on October 22, 1826, the daughter of Tommaso Costantino and his wife Rosolia Inguaggiato and had two Tripi children, Vincenza Tripi and Antonino Tripi. Giovanni Tripi may be named after his father's sister, Giovanna Tripi.
2. Elisabetta Tripi married Michangelo Bova and had three children:

1. Maria Grazia Bova, born 1792, who married Mr. Cirrincione

2. Filippo Bova

3. Rosa Bova

Elisabetta Tripi survived the Great Cholera Epidemic of 1837 in Alia.

Elisabetta Tripi passed away on September 8, 1854, probably in Alia, Sicilia. She would have been about 72 years old at the time of her death.

Records say Elisabetta Tripi was born in 1780. Her father is the Ignazio Tripi from Alia who married Lucia Monteleone, not the Ignazio Tripi from Valledolmo who married Filippa Dispenza.
