Obituary
MR. JOHN TROTTER.
On Saturday morning last death released from further suffering and affliction Mr. John Trotter, a very old resident of Glenthorne. Deceased was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Trotter, of Glenthorne, and was born on the Williams River, but came to the Manning with his parents when quite young. On the demise of his parents he became possessed of the old homestead, alongside that of his brother, Mr. T. D. Trotter, and lived there for a good number of years.
Some ten years or so ago he leased the farm to his nephew, Mr. Don Trotter, and retired from active farming.
Deceased is survived by one brother, Mr. Thos. D. Trotter, of "Comwell," Glenthorne. One sister (Mrs. Alex Lobban, relict of the late Inspector Alexander Lobban) died some five years ago, and the only other sister, Mrs. Catherine Belford (relict of the late Mr. William James Belford) only passed away at Taree on the 14th ultimo.
