Biography

Hannah Truesdell was born on the 18th of November 1706 in Newton, Massachusetts. [1] She was the daughter of Samuel Truesdell Jr. (1675-1753) and Elizabeth (Hammond) Truesdell (1683-1754).[2]

Hannah married Joshua Andrews (abt.1704-1752) on the 10th of March 1726 in Boston, Massachusetts.[3][4] They raised ten children in Milton, Massachusetts.[2]

George Andrews in the Genealogy of the Andrews... states that her parents, Samuel and Elizabeth Truesdale, deeded their house and land in Newton to Hannah’s husband, Joshua, dated November 27, 1747.

Upon Joshua's death in December of 1752, Hannah was awarded custody of their three minor children: Anna, Abigail and Jerusha.[6]

Truesdale-192 and Truesdell-155 appear to represent the same person because: Same date of birth. Same parents. Clear duplicate.

A common difference in surname spelling. Truesdell is more commonly used in the United States.
