Biography

Emma was born about 1874, daughter of Marcus Lucius Tryon (1835-1913) and Harriet (James) Tryon (abt.1843-). She married Frank Stanley in 1899 and they had two daughters, Francis (1901) and Alma/Ellen/Elinore (1910), and a son Robert (1902). She died in 1962.

Research Notes

She is not mentioned in the 1913 obituary of her father as one of his four (surviving) children, but her husband is noted as a child and we assume the obituary meant to say Mrs. Frank Stanley.
