Biography

Thomas was born in 1858. He was the son of Thomas Tryon. He married Hannah in 1895. He and Hannah are last seen in 1839 electoral registers but not in the 1839 England Register so they may have passed away that year. There is no indication of children.

Research Notes

1871 census: in household of Thomas Tryon, age 67, and siblings William age 15 and Elizabeth age 11. Thomas Sr born in Paddington, children born in Bethnal Green.

1901 census: Married to Anna, age 41, both born in Bethnal Green. In 1911 wife is Hannah and he born Scotland. I think his father was born in Scotland so that may be the issue. Wife is definitely Hannah because they are found in electoral registers in Shoreditch, Hackney, from 1918 to 1939 as Thomas and Hannah Tryon. He is found in registers in Hackney from 1895. In a few registers he is Thomas Tyron, a common misspelling.
