Biography
Martha V. Tucker was born 1848 in Morgan, Alabama, United States. Her parents were Charles Tucker and Ann Drake.
Not much is known about her. She is the next-to-the-youngest child of Charles and Ann and was only 2 years old at the time of the 1850 Census. Sometime between the 1850 and 1860 Census, in approximately 1855, Charles dies. Martha is then in the 1860 Census in the home of her widowed mother.
Her inclusion as an heir in the probate documents of Charles Tucker definitively links her parentage.[1] The document states: Judith C, John W., Martha V and Charles J Tucker all under 21.
