Biography

George Tuddenham came free to the Colony of South Australia (1836-1900)

George was born in 1841 most likely in Norfolk as his siblings were. He was the son of Thomas Tuddenham and Rebecca Bennett.

In 1855 Thomas Tuddenham and his wife Rebecca and their children: Susan, Henry, William, George, Thomas, Mary Ann, Elizabeth, James, David and Sarah sailed on the Octavia from Southampton to Port Adelaide, South Australia. They arrived on the 19th of July 1855 and subsequently the whole family seems to have moved to Victoria.

He passed away in 1921.
