Rose Dometile was the daughter of Jean Marie Tullier and Elizabeth Dupuis. She was born on 24 November 1823 and was baptized the following year in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

She married Clermont Bitancourt in 1845 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

She died on 5 April 1866 at about the age of 40. Her succession was filed in Saint Martinville later that month.
