Biography

Elizabeth was born in 1848. She is the daughter of John Turner and Martha Hatfield.

Elizabeth Turner was born on July 16, 1848 in Fayette, Illinois to John and Mary (Hatfield) Turner. She married James Ellison on January 4, 1872 in Fayette County, Illinois. She was the parent of Josephine (1868-1902), Mary Rosabelle (1870-1872), Edward Franklin (1873-1967), Lewis Sherman (1875-1949), Dennis Oscar (1877-1922), James Harry (1879-1967), Frederick Garfield (1880-1881), Claude Rufus (1882-1893), Bertha Ethel (1884-1974), Daisy May (1886-1977), Lily Artimara (1887-1947), and Marvin Eugene (1890-1954). She died on March 29, 1932 in Sefton Township, Illinois, at the age of 83, and is buried in Maplewood Cemetery in Avena Township, Illinois.
