Margaret Turner [1] was reportedly born in or near 1820 in Ireland. [1]
Her parents remain unidentified at this time.
She married Patrick Ward.
Together they had at least 1 child:
- One newspaper clipping refers to Patrick's granddaughter as the "niece" of Pat Ward; This "Pat Ward" could be a son of Patrick, or, equally possible, the designation "niece" could be an error.
- Patrick's obituary refers to predeceased "children", so apparently Isabelle was not his only child. However, so far, specific information has been very difficult to locate.
Margaret appeared on the census on June 1, 1860 as a member of Patrick Ward's household in Alton, Madison County, Illinois. [1]
