Harrold Twyford, son of Thomas William & Susanna, was baptised on 29 May 1873 in Shelton, St Mark, Staffordshire, England.^[1]

In the 1881 census Harold (age 7), Scholar, was the son of Thomas W Twyford at Moor House, Biddulph (Stafford), Congleton, Staffordshire, England.^[2]

In the 1891 census Harold (age 17), Scholar, was a boarder in The Cross, Repton, Burton upon Trent, Derbyshire, England.^[3]

Harold was an alumnus of Cambridge University:

Major Harold Twyford of the 7th Dragoon Guards, son of the late Thomas Wm. Twyford, married Mary Lucy Weaver on 4 April 1925 in St John's Church, Southwick Crescent, London.^[7][8]

Harold Twyford died on 28 December 1954 in Brighton, England and his estate passed probate on 17 March 1955 in London, England.^[10] Harold's death (age 81) was registered in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1954 in the Brighton district.^[11]
