Harriet (Unknown) Jones is a part of US Black heritage.

Harriet was born about 1834 in New York. Her father was born in New York[1] or French Canada[2] and her mother was born in New York.[3]

She was the wife and widow of Civil War veteran Sergeant James R. Jones of the 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry, the first regiment in the United States to enlist men of color during that war.
