Household exam different birth date 1840?[3] - This is a different person. In the household book for 1861-1870, the one prior to this one, he's listed under his parents, Matts Larson and Anna Catherina Olasdotter (maybe Clasdotter).
1840 birth record[4] - This one I can't explain other than to say bad indexing. There actually wasn't anyone born on February 4, 1840 in Näs parish that the priest recorded.[5]
