Margaret (Unknown) Reddington was a witchcraft accuser in the Salem Witch Trials
Margaret (___) Reddington was born about 1622, based on testimony given April 22, 1692 in the witchcraft trial of Mary Easty. Her maiden name and origins are unknown. [1][2][3]
She married Abraham Reddington, of Topsfield, Massachusetts about 1645. Her husband Abraham was baptized at Hundson, Hertfordshire, England on June 8, 1617, son of Thomas Reddington and Hannah Perry. [1]
Margaret died at Boxford, Massachusetts on February 3, 1694. [1][4]
Her husband Abraham died there on September 12, 1697. [1][4]
Abraham wrote his will on October 14, 1693. It was proved on November 8, 1697. In it he names: [5]
Elizabeth born on February 18, 1645/6 [6]; married Peter Prescott of Salem on May 22, 1679. [7][5][1]; she is named in the will of her brother Abraham Jr. written on February 1, 1706/7. [8]
Abraham born on November 25, 1647 [6]; died at Rowley, Massachusetts on December 22, 1712. [1]
Thomas born on July 25,1649 [6]; died at Boxford on January 7, 1700/1; Mary Kimball of Bradford on March 22, 1682/3 at Boxford. [4][1]
Sarah born on March 15, 1654/5 [6]; died at Gloucester on February 15, 1699/1700; married John Rowe Sr., as his second wife at Gloucester on September 1, 1684. [9][5][1]
Isaac born on June 17, 1657; died on May 4, 1659. [6][1]
Benjamin born on April 19, 1661/2 [6]; died young [1]; not mentioned in his father's will of October 14, 1693. [5]
