Biography

Susannah Winstanley (1796-1873) was born in Northwich on the 2nd July 1796 and christened on the 24th July 1796. She was the daughter of John Winstanley & Ann Woodyer. ^[1]

She married William Allcock in Great Budworth parish on the 6th November 1815. ^[2]

They had at least 2 children, Mary (1817) and William (1825) both christenings indicating that they lived in Northwich and that her husband was a flatman. ^{[3] [4]}

Her husband, William, died in 1829 and Susannah remarried in 1832 in Great Budworth parish to Hawarden Iland (often recorded as Ireland) ^[5] They had at least one son, Thomas (1840) ^[6]

I can't find the family in 1841. Hawarden died in 1849 and from 1851 onwards, Susannah lived on London Road, Leftwich/Davenham. ^{[7] [8] [9]}

She died in June 1873 ^[10] and was buried in Davenham on the 18th June 1873. ^[11]
