• Cora Lee Johnson, born about 1930 in Florida.

Lula, age 54, and Joseph Timmons are mentioned in the 1930 census for Spring Valley Turpentine Camp, near Sebring, Highlands County, Florida.^[1]

In the 1935 state census, Lula, Joe, and Cora were recorded in the Ocala, Precinct 6, Osceola County, Florida,^[2]

The 1940 census locates Lula, age 55, Joe, and Cora, age 8, are listed as living at the Auburndale Turpentin Camp in the E Precient 6 of Auburndale, Polk, Florida. A boarder, Lilly Taylor is also in the household.^[3]

Lula Timmons passed away August 19, 1947 in Polk County.^[4] She is buried in the Lakeside Historical Cemetery in Avon Park. A gravestone marks her burial site.^[5]
