Biography

Sarah was a slave of Charles Sansing/Sensing however Charles was enumerated with "enslaved persons per the 1810 census, and not the 1880 or 1790 census. Sarah was the mother of 3 three children according to the 1831 will of Charles Sansing/Sensing, they were Mariah, Eady, and Sam.

A direct female descendant of Sarah, through her daughter Mariah, through her daughter Mary Adkins-Biddle has tested her mitochondrial DNA and the haplogroup is L3b2.
