To reference / cite the name Mary, wife of Charles Sansing, the term/word will was put in parentheses. Researchers since then have taken the word will to be the surname/maiden name of Mary wife of Charles Sansing. This is incorrect. Researchers from the 1970s to the present have not been able to verify the maiden name of Mary, wife of Charles Sansing.
