Biography
Sarah was born around 1809, based on her age at death, possibly in Lincolnshire.
She married Reuben Partridge. Their children included:
- ~1836, Sarah, eldest daughter => at least one more
- ~1842 Reuben (married Elizabeth Maitland in 1869)
- 1850, Matthew, 3rd son
The family migrated to South Australia around 1851.
Reuben died in 1861.
Sarah lived as a widow for almost 41 years and died aged 93 at Semaphore, South Australia on 14 January 1902.[1]
PARTRIDGE.—On the 14th January, 1902, at her residence, Holbcach, Semaphore, formerly of Keyneton and Saddleworth, Sarah, relict of the late Reuben Partridge, of Holbeacb, Lincolnshire, aged 93 years 6 months; a colonist of 51 years.
