Anna was born in 1808. She passed away after 1846.

- Paul names Anna and her (their?) children as: Thomas, 17, b. 1828; Sarah Jane, 14, b. 1831; Anna 11, b. 1834. - Paul states that these children are “known as” Sturdevants. Paul’s choice of words may cast some doubt as to whether they are truly Sturdevants, or may be suggesting that these are his children. Also in his will, Paul describes Anna as his “housekeeper”, which may mean that they were living as man and wife but were not married. - Paul bequeaths property to “Ana Grason” “free from the control and intermedaling of her present or any future husband which she may intermarry with for her own sales, uses, benefits” It appears that Anna was not married to Paul.
