Cecil Frederick Murray Upton was born about 1871 in Croydon, Surrey, England, United Kingdom, son of George Murray Upton (~1846 - ~1882) and Ellen Murray (Turner) Upton (~1844 - <1891).

His sister was Ethel Isabella Murray (Upton) Mason (1876 - 1926).

Cecil, son of George Murray Upton & Ellen Upton, was baptised on 12 August 1871 in Croydon, Surrey, England.[1]

Cecil's birth was registered in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1871 in the Croydon district.[2]

Cecil (~26) married Laura Burgess (~16) (1881 - ) in 1897 in St Saviour Southwark, Surrey. Their children were:

  1. Ivy Ellen Upton (1902 - )
  2. Olive Elizabeth Upton (1903 - )
  3. Myrtle Laura Upton (1905 - 1986).
