Biography

Albert "Bert" Elijah Utterback was born 29 Mar 1885 [1] in Stanford Township, Clay Co., Illinois, USA to Elijah Martin Utterback and Nancy Ellen Pettijohn. [2] He married Rosetta "Rosie" Mae (Brown) Gillum on 24 June 1910 in Pike Co., Illinois, USA. [3] (They never appear in a census together, nor does he appear with their children. In the 1920 Census, he is listed as single.)

Albert and Rosetta had the following children: [2] [4]

  1. Albert Elijah Utterback, Jr., b. 11 Jan 1908, [5] d. Jan 1974.
  2. Lawrence Utterback, b. 1909, d. 2 Nov 1964; m. Mary Theresa Keim.
  3. Dollie Francis "Frank" Utterback, b. 7 Nov 1911, d. 17 Nov 2013, m. Hazel Lucille Likes.

Albert served in WWI as a Private in Missouri's 484 Aero Squadron, enlisting 6 Jan 1918 and discharged 12 Feb 1919. [6]

In 1923, he married Edna Lila Hubert. [7] [8] Albert and Edna had the following children: [2]
