Biography

Cornelius Van Dorn / Doorn was born 1 Nov 1685 Queens, New York, a son of Diedlof Van Doorn who married 26 Dec 1680 in New York to Elsje Jenriaens, and possibly grandson of Cornelius Lambertson Van Doorn of Utrecht in the Netherlands who came to Albany in 1642. [1] He passed away before 16 Dec 1755 in Monmouth County, New Jersey.
