Marijtje was born in 1695. [1] . Marijtje and Jacob married in 1723 [2]

Marijtje is the son of Cornelis Cornelissen Moerkerken and Aaltje Henriks van der Aar, because:
- it fits with the region, period and naming conventions (her second daughter is called Aleidis=Aaltje)
- witness to the baptism of he children are Crijntie Cornelis, Hendrik Cornelis and Macheltie Cornelis. These are all children of Cornelis and Aaltje and therefore her siblings
