Marijtje is the son of Cornelis Cornelissen Moerkerken and Aaltje Henriks van der Aar, because:

  • it fits with the region, period and naming conventions (her second daughter is called Aleidis=Aaltje)
  • witness to the baptism of he children are Crijntie Cornelis, Hendrik Cornelis and Macheltie Cornelis. These are all children of Cornelis and Aaltje and therefore her siblings
