Biography
Willem (his father?) came to Hoofdplaat, Zeeland, Netherlands, from Waterland in Flanders. He was among the first members of the church that was organized in 1785 in the Hoofdplaat polder. In 1794 diaken of the church[1]
Farmer in the employ of Willem Schorer, counsel of the Admiralty of Zeeland.
Of the five children of Willem, three died very young. Jannes was the third child.
