Biography
Hendrikus Gerardus van der Sluijs was born on 24 December 1927 in Utrecht, Utrecht, Netherlands, the son of Gerrit van der Sluijs and Hendrika Willemina Baars.
His mother died on 20 July 1929 in The Hague, South Holland, Netherlands and his father remarried.
His half siblings are Casper (Franke) Van Der Sluijs, Aart Van Der Sluijs, Marinus Van Der Sluijs, Maria Magdalena Van Der Sluijs and Peter Louis Van Der Sluijs.
Hendrikus died on 29- December 2003 and is buried in "Het Kerkhof", the Dutch Reformed Cemetery in Lutte, Overijssel, The Netherlands [1].

It is a regional village, originated in the nineteenth century along the former canal de Dedemsvaart.
