- Carl Friederich Anton van der Sluijs is born 1851-01-06 in the Koestraat nr.19 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, as son of Hendrik Van der Sluijs, tailor, 39 years old and Maria Elisabeth Weinman. Witnesses: Carl Frederik Saal, 50 years old, living at the Vijzelgracht 6 and Carel Frederik Saal, 24 years old, living at the Nieuwedijk 26.[1]
- Carl Friederich Anton van der Sluijs, clerck, 25 years old, son of Hendrik Johannes van der Sluijs and Maria Elisabeth Weinman, marries 1876-08-10 in Amsterdam with Stientje Zeilinga, 24 years old and born in Nieuwendam as daughter of Abraham Zeilinga, commissioner and Trijntje Meijer.[2]
- Carl and Steintje lived with their two sons Carl Friederich Anton and Abraham George Frederik at the Oudezijds Achterburgwal 146 in Amsterdam between 1874 and 1893[3]
- Carl, Clerck, 42 years old and living in Amsterdam, spouse of Stientje Zeilinga, passed away 1893-10-26 in Amsterdam.[4]
