Biography
NOTE: Jannetje's LNAB should be 'Jillisz', which is the patronymic used in her baptism record. Her father's marriage record (see his profile) give the surname van der Struijs, as does Jannetje's own marriage; but it is not used on her baptism record.
Baptism
Jannetge was born to Jillis Jansz (van der Struijs) and his wife Betjen Arents, and she was baptised in the Hervormde Kerk of Naaldwijk on the 21st of September, 1668. The baptism record only lists her father's name, Jillis Jansz. [1]
Marriage
Rombertus Jeremias van Mechelen, bachelor, and Jannetje Jillis van der Struijs, bachelorette, with an attestation from the Hague, were married in the Hervormde Kerk of Loosduinen on the 20th of March, 1696. [2]
Burial
Jannetje (vrouw van Meghelen) was buried in Naaldwijk on the 10th of February, 1721. [3]
