Biography

Edward Vandermark was born ca 1858 in New York.[1] He was the son of Jacob Vandermark and Elanor "Ellen, Nelly" Smith UNKNOWN. At age 12, he was in his Father and step mother's home in Rochester, Ulster County, New York, where he was working as a laborer and attending School.[1]

He married Elizabeth J.__ . They had at least 2 children.

  2. Norman Vandermark (1882-)

They were living in 'Rochester, Ulster County, New York in 1880, where Edward age 24, was a laborer, and Elizabeth was taking care of the home and their son Elma-1.[2]

Still in Rochester in 1905, with their 2 son.s, Elmer-26, and Norman-23.[3]

They were living on their farm in 1930, in Rochester, with their son Norman-48, and daughter-in Law, Lena in the home.[4]
