Biography

William was born in 1885. [1] He was the son of John Varner and Diana Nottingham. The 1900 census shows him living with his parents and siblings in Pocahontas County, West Virginia. [2] The 1910 census shows him as head of household, with immediate family members living with him in Pocahontas County, West Virginia. [3]In about 1913 he married Elizabeth Miller. The 1920, 1930, and 1940 census information shows him living with his wife and children in Augusta County, Virginia. [4] [5] [6] He was a farmer. William passed away in 1968. [7] [8]
