Biography

Martha was born in 1828. Her parents were Josiah J. Vaughn and Elizabeth Strode (Duncan) Vaughn.

In 1850 she was 21 and living with her parents and siblings in Missouri. ^[1]

She married Richard M Fallis in 1850.

There was a second census that she appeared on for 1850. For this one she was living with her husband and newborn son George in Missouri. ^[2]

In 1860 they were living in Missouri with four children. ^[3]

In 1870 they were living in Missouri with eight children. ^[4]

By 1880 census they had only three of their children still living with them. ^[5]

She passed away in 1899.

Martha was buried in Fallis Cemetery, Bethany, Harrison County, Missouri. ^[6]
