Biography
Mary was born about 1800 in Cosford, Warwickshire. She passed away after 1881.
She and Peter had 7 children:
John, Peter, Elizabeth, Mary, George, Hannah, Jane
After Peter's death in 1855 she remarried to her daughter-in-law Jane Hall's father William Hall (widower), aged 54, on 30 June 1857 at St. Matthew's, Walsall, Staffordshire.

In https://www.findmypast.co.uk/transcript?id=GBC%2F1881%2F0012675963 the 1881 Census lists Mary & William Hall living with son Peter Gilks in Walsall. However her birthplace is listed as Crick, Northampton, UK, which differs from the one copied from Alison Fox's Ancestry.com tree.
