Lupe Vélez, born Villalobos Vélez, was a Mexican-born actress and performer. She was Johnny Weissmuller's second wife, from 1933 to 1839.
María Guadalupe, born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, was the daughter of Jacob Villalobos and Josefina Vélez.[1][2]
Lupe Vélez died on 14 December 1944 in Los Angeles[3][4] of a massive ingestion of Seconal. She was buried at Panteón Civil de Dolores.[5]
