Biography

Frederick Vendy was born in 1836 in Thorpe Langton, Leicestershire, England, the son of Maria Vendy and Matthew Vendy.^[1][2]

He was christened on 7 August 1836 at Church Langon, Leicestershire.^[1]

He emigrated to Australia on the "Red Jacket" in 1858 .^[3]

He married Louisa Swanson in 1862 in Victoria, Australia.^[4] Their children were:^[5]
