Richard is the second child of James Crabb Verco and Ann Cooke, born in 1844[1]. He was aged 5 years and 2 weeks of age when he died, due to inflammation of the brain, at Morphett Street, Adelaide[2]. Richard is interred in West Terrace Cemetery. The burial register does not provide a grave location, however he is included on the headstone located on his parents' grave.[3].
