Biography

John was born in 1736. He is the son of John Viets and Lois Phelps.

John died at the young age of twenty-nine years, leaving a wife and four children.

John was a farmer. he also wrote verses of some merit. There are still preserved two printed copied of a poem of his, entitled "A Prospect of the Final and Awful Judgment".
