Biography
Notes: On 6 March 1687 Frans appears before notary Jan Reijers Rijp in Avenhorn to give a power of attorney to notary Jan Boetiusz van Elsland in Hoorn [1].
Between 1689 and 1719 Frans Vlieghuis frequently acted as witness at the notary offices [2].
Religious: Frans Vieghuis, surgeon in Avenhorn, and his wife Antje Jacobs made their confession of faith in Avenhorn on 2 January 2 1693 [3].
"Meester Frans Antje Jacobse z. vrouw" are members of the church of Avenhorn in 1711 [4] and in 1729: "Mr. Frans Vlieghuijs obiit Antje Jacobsd. z. h.vr. obiit" [5].
Death: Frans died between 1729 [5] and 1742 [6] in Avenhorn.
