Mildred Voborsky was 29 Dec 1898 in Chicago, Illinois to James Voborsky and Rose Melichar.[1] She married Joseph A Lenski Sr. on 26 Jun 1923 at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin.[2]
They had the following children:[2][1]
They moved to the Town of Armenia in Juneau County, Wisconsin of which Joseph became Town Supervisor and where they farmed for 19 years. In 1940, they moved to a farm near Necedah and lived there for 27 years. After Joseph retired in October 1964, they moved to Riverside County, California. On Saturday, 30 Jun 1973, the Lenskis celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in Elroy, Wisconsin, with Mildred's sisters acting as bridemaids again in a renewal of vows.[2]
She passed away at the Memorial Hospital in Tomah, Wisconsin on 27 Jun 1980 at age 81,[1] one day after their 57th wedding anniversary. She was buried in Novotny Cemetery in New Miner, Juneau County, Wisconsin.[3]
