Note: Both Ed Voisin from Mt. Pleasant and Clara Scholl from Lansing visited with their respective parents over Easter. They would be married three months later on June 24, 1913.

Transcription: Beal City. Edward Voisin, who is employed at the Klunzinger jewelry store at the county seat, spent Easter with relatives here. Miss Clara Scholl returned to Lansing Tuesday after spending Easter with her parents.

Beal City. Ed Voisin from Mt. Pleasant came home and stayed over Sunday with his [parents] Mr. and Mrs. Joe Voisin.

Clara Scholl from Lansing came home to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Scholl, over Easter. [7]

Transcription: Well Known Jeweler, Edward Voisin, Dies. Edward A. Voisin, 66, retired Mt. Pleasant jeweler and a lifetime resident of Isabella county, died Sunday evening at his residence at 406 South College. Mr. Voisin began the jewelry establishment known as E. A. Voisin and Sons 40 years ago. Since his retirement several years ago his sons, Leo and Walter, have continued with the business. Mr. Voisin was born March 15, 1890 in Beal City. He was a Past Grand Knight of Columbus and a member of the Chamber of Commerce.

The survivors include his wife, Clara; sons, Joseph of St. Mary’s, Ohio, and Walter and Leo of Mt. Pleasant; daughters, Mrs. Lillian Webster, Mrs. Dorothy Sheahan and Mrs. Rita Ann Deni of Mt. Pleasant, Mrs. Ruth Rakowski of Bad Axe and Mrs. Irene Edwards of Columbus, Ohio, and 27 grand children.

Others are brothers, Herman, George and Ernest of Mt. Pleasant, Williard of Lansing and Louis of Florida, and sisters, Mrs. Erma Thelan and Mrs. Henrietta Blasen of Beal City. A solemn requiem high mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Sacred Heart church with burial in Calvary cemetery. Rosary services will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Rush Funeral home chapel.
