Ann was born in the first quarter of 1842 in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, England[1] and was baptised on 20 March 1842 in St Peter Ad Vincula, Stoke on Trent[2]
In the 1851 census Ann was age 9 and living with her parents and siblings at Cliff Bank Square, Stoke upon Trent, Staffordshire, England.[3]
In the 1861 census Ann was a Potter paintress, aged 19 and living with her mother and siblings in Upper Cliff Bank, Penkhull, Stoke upon Trent, Staffordshire, England.[4]
Ann married William Crane on 4 August 1861 in St Mark, Shelton, Staffordshire, England.[5][6]
