Eugene Ferdinand Walter Jr. (1921 - 1998) was an American writer, actor, poet, and artist. Born in Mobile, Alabama, he was known for his work celebrating the art of living. He was also a puppeteer, gourmet chef, cryptographer, translator, and raconteur. Walter is credited with 47 movies, including Normal Young Man, The Belle Starr Story, and Le Braghe del Padrone. He died in Mobile on March 29, 1998, and is buried in Church Street Graveyard.
