Henry was born on Jul 6, 1826, in South Carolina, USA. [1] He married Kerrenhappuck Ann Swinford on Aug 8,1849, in Cherokee, Texas, USA. [2] He enlisted as a Private in the Thirteenth Cavalry (Burnett's Regiment, Thirteenth Mounted Volunteers) Company K in the Confederate Army in 1862. [3] He passed away about 1872 in Corsicana, Navarro County, Texas, USA. He was buried in the Oakwood Cemetery in Corsicana, Navarro County, Texas, USA. [4]
