The 1940 US census for East Dixfield, Wilton, Maine lists residents of a farm as Hollis Smith (24), a farmer, his wife Cielia [sic] E (24) and their daughter Laura L (3). They own their farm valued at $1000, and it is the same place where Hollis and Celia lived in 1935.
The 1950 US census for Wilton, Maine lists the residents of a farm located on the East Dixfield Road as head of household Hollis W Smith (34), a farmer, his wife Celia W (34), their children Laura L (13), Calvin C (9) and Leslie L (5), as well as his father Charles C Smith (70), and mother Ella N [sic] (69). All were born in Maine.
Celia passed away in 1995 and is buried at the East Dixfield Cemetery, Est Dixfield, Maine.
