Joan was born about 1642, in Saco. She was the daughter of Henry Warwick and Jane Unknown. Her father Henry Warwick, aka Waddock, arrived aboard the ship White Angel in 1631[1]. He was recorded as a resident there in 1636[2] Joan, one of the daughters, married John Helson, "3 of 9mth1658" [3 Nov 1658][3][4]; their son, Ephraim, was born 1667* The other daughter married John Tenny of Black-point ; they, together with goodwife Jane, the widow of the old planter, were living at Gloucester Mass. 1690.
