Biography

George was born in Thaxted, Essex on 9 October 1871, the son of George Watson and Ellen Trustrum.[1][2][3]

In 1891, he was a Cambridge undergraduate.[4]

George married Dorothy Nora (Rankin) Watson (abt.1877-) on 27 June 1901.[5]

Walking in the footsteps of his father and brother, Charles, he became a Physician.[6]

At the time of the 1911 Census, George, Nora and their two daughters were living at Tonbridge Wells, Kent.[2]

In 1920 he was awarded the OBE for his services during the First World War.[3]

He passed away in the district of Tunbridge, Kent on 6 December 1952, aged 81 years. [7][8][9] A funeral service was held at the Church of St King Charles the Martry, Royal Tunbridge Wells on 11 December that year.[10][3]
