Jack Eric Joseph Watson was born on 28 June 1918 in Bundaberg, Queensland. He was the son of George Ernest Watson and Isabella Dawson McKenzie.^[1]

He married Stella Loughlan.

Jack passed away on 13 July 1973 in Sydney, New South Wales,^[2] and was interred in Macquarie Park Cemetery and Crematorium, North Ryde.^[3]
