Jane appears to be living in the household of her son Franklin in 1860. [3]
Her husband's Last Will names children: Jeptha, Willis, Washington, Franklin, Jasper, Jefferson, Martha, Milly (mar Slaton), and William M, Landrum.
She was the daughter of Henry Watts and Anna (Unknown) Watts. Sister of William Watts, Annice Watts, Mary Watts, Robert Watts, Cinderella Watts, Clarinda Watts, Sugar Johnson Watts and Alfred Mills Watts.
